His powerful paintings bring a view of abstraction that can be both dark and light while evoking a range of emotions in the observer. Working in oils, graphite and other mixed media, Louis also has a series of sculptures in metal and other media that are thought provoking and concentrated in their detail. This makes a piece both offering and challenging to the viewer to arrive at their own conclusion.
