Anna Magruder
Sometimes, art just makes you smile and you don't know why. I've had the joy of viewing Anna Magruder's art on our walls for a few days now and I'm lucky to be filled with smiles as I enjoy their presence.
As an artist, she admits to painting somewhere "between realism and surrealism" and her subjects range from dear friends to random strangers. It is in her attention to detail and her outstanding use of light that simple travel photos become works of art; high school yearbook photos gain new life. A skilled artist makes the work look easy; a highly talented artist makes them come alive. I'm happy to report that Ms. Magruder's characters lives fill our walls.
Won't you come and enjoy them?

First Thursday Opening is June 2nd, from 6:40pm on, following the evening Kettlebell class. Light refreshments will be served. And of course, free chair massages all evening from the amazing Robin Tibbals, LMT.
